Ndorwa East parliamentary hopeful Kyokwijuka asks students to focus on development

The Ndorwa County East MP hopeful Alexander Kyokwijuka, who is also a business consultant and Development enthusiast has asked young people in school to focus their efforts and energy on Development if Ndorwa East is to develop. 

Kyokwijuka was speaking as Chief Guest at the official launch of the Ndorwa East Students Association of Kyambogo University to which association he was also named Patron. 

Kyambogo University Ndorwa East Students Association was launched on Sunday 24th, July 2022 at Kiwamirembe Hostel around Kyambogo University.

The function was attended by students hailing from Ndorwa East that are studying in Institutions of higher learning like Makerere University, KIU, and Kyambogo University.

In his closing remarks as Guest of Honor, Kyokwijuka asked students not to allow it to be used for political gain, by politicians including himself. He cautioned the students against allowing them to be comprised as this may drive them away from the main objectives of starting the association. 

He thanked all invited guests and the students for making time to actually be there. He promised to keep supporting them in all endeavors so that the association can grow.

He also encouraged the students to mobilize their counterparts in all other institutions of higher learning, to keep growing the association to cover all institutions in the country.

In his speech, Mr. Mukiza Dassy Armstrong applauded Mr. Alexander Kyokwijuka for braving and supporting the students through the process to start this association. He applauded the humble citizen for always welcoming them whenever they had issues to discuss and whenever they reached out to him to seek guidance and advice. He further thanked everyone for coming to attend this event, which was a landmark event by all standards. 

Redeemer Agaba , the current Chairman, Ndorwa East Students Association – Makerere University chapter congratulated their Kyambogo University counterparts and appreciated Alexander Kyokwijuka for being there for fellow young people since he (Kyokwijuka) also doubles as the Patron of Ndorwa East Students Association – Makerere University. 

Other invited guests were Silas Baryagasha, who encouraged the students to keep in touch with their original homes, Joel Agaba who asked students to look up to some of the inspirational figures from Ndorwa East, and Begumisa Protazio the former parliamentary candidate for Ndorwa East Parliamentary seat thanked the young people for being focused.
