Rukiga woman mp commissions two boreholes

The Rukiga woman member of the Parliament Hon Caroline Kamusiime Muhwezi together with the Nile development agency yesterday launched two boreholes in town councils of Muhanga and Mparo in Rukiga District.

At Butobere-Nyakanengo village Rutare ward Muhanga town council, Hon Caroline represented by her personal political Assistant Mr. Mutabarura Joshua Katabazi thanked people for receiving this water project in their area as it will help them from moving long journeys to water sources or from un-secure Rivers water sources, which can lead to disease outbreak.

She pledged to continue Robbing for more other things for her people due to the fact that she’s now connected to a number of prominent people, not only in Uganda but on a continental Level.

Twesigomwe Onesimus the LC III councilor of Rutare ward thanked the area woman Mp together with the Nile development agency for thinking about this area where people normally fetch water from open Rivers. He requested more boreholes in his area as a number of people can’t afford to buy water from National Water and sewerage corporation “NWSC” which said that tariffs are high.

Hon Nkamushaba Jacklin also the area LC V councilor of Muhanga Town councilor encouraged beneficiaries to use the borehole given to them carefully and thanked the legislator for having a kind heart to Robby for her people.

At Sindi Village Sindi ward Mparo town council people led by their LC II chairperson, Mr. Kibuka Banard thanked the legislator together with the Nile development agency for pushing hander in bringing water sources near to them.

Banard also requested for more boreholes to be planted in nearby areas to avoid people congesting this, in their area.

The Mayor Mparo town council Hon Jimmy Kawayida welcomed the water project in his area and pledged to ensure that it is put under the correct use.

Representatives of the Nile development agency told the contraptions both at Butobere village in Muhanga town council and Sindi Village in Mparo town council that together with the Woman Mp Rukiga District Hon Caroline Kamusiime Muhwezi, they are committed to chasing away, the water shortage problem in Rukiga District.

Two boreholes launched were donated by “ATALI, ERSOY KOL YAHSI FAMILIES” and “ALI KILIC AILESI BARIS KALAYCI VE AILESI” all from Turkey.
