Bishop Calist Rubaramira confirms 841 Christians into catholic faith.

The Bishop of Kabale Diocese Rt. Rev. Calistus Rubaramira has confirmed a total of 841 Christians from Christ the King Parish.

Among the confirmands 413 were girls while 428 were boys that were confirmed into catholic faith

Preaching during the mass in Kabale Municipal Stadium Kabale municipality, Bishop Rubaramira asked the newly confirmed Christians to be good moral and be agents of change in their societies through preaching the word of God.

Bishop Rubaramira asked Christians to practice Jesus’ love that he showed his people and spread it to the people of God. He said that when Christians are closer to God they learn the ways of Jesus Christ, love, mercy and faithfulness of the lord.

He encouraged Christians to accept Jesus Christ as their savior and allow the virtues of Jesus Christ and follow him so as to receive his blessings.

Speaking at the same function, the Kabale district woman Member of Parliament Catherine Atwakiire Ndamira emphasized the need for young people to embrace education as the first priority if they are to have a bright future.

Prossy Akampurira Begumisa, the commissioner of parliament who doubles as the woman Member of Parliament for Rubanda asked the Youth to work hard, fear God and be disciplined to become better in the near future. She asked them to avoid being idle.

She asked parents to be responsible for their children in this generation.
