The Rubanda district Lc 5 Chairperson Ampeire Steven Kasyaba has called upon couples to embrace respect in a move to have a stable marriage.

Ampeire made the remarks during the wedding function of Mr. Kamusiime John Vian and his wife Happy Maxesia of Butare parish Muko sub county Rubanda district. The function was held at Hill top Hotel Kabale Municipality.

Ampeire noted that marriage without respect from both sides does not yield anything but rather divide

Ampeire noted that everyone is nurtured in a family and “if you meet a child or citizen with poor morals, in most cases it reflects on the way that citizen was nurtured by the family.”

He appealed to couples to respect the institution of marriage and family, saying it would lay a firm foundation for society.

Rubanda district boss noted that it gives him joy, happiness and hope that Ugandans have recognized the importance of the family as the fibre of society on which citizens are natured and institutions are grown. He congratulated the couple on their achievement and asked the young people to emulate them.

Kasyaba further commented on kamusiime for his commitment in securing lives of people in the health sector.

He encouraged parents to educate their children and make education the first priority to have a better future.
