Over Shs14m raised to construct Kihanga girls headteachers house.

A total of 14m has been raised to construct the house of head teacher Kihanga girls primary school in Mparo town Council Rukiga district.

The funds were raised during the thanksGiving of Mparo town council Lc 5 Councillor Bale Amedi Bende aiming at constructing Kihanga girls primary school head teachers house. Speaking, Amedi noticed that the head teacher was homeless thus deciding to have a thanksgiving as a way of giving back to the community.

He added that without Education there couldn’t be development in communities.

 The function was held at St Johns Church of Uganda Kihanga Archdeaconry, where the archdeacon Rev Can Obed Tukamuhabwa presided over the function.

Tukamuhabwa called n Christians to have faith in the Lord and always have time to thank God for the life he has endured to them. He said that those who have offices and have gotten opportunities should use them through thanking God and helping the needy.

Speaking as the guest of honor Kiconco Patrick Katabazi Rukiga District Mp aspirant, encouraged Christians to emulate the call where they are a need to serve the community. He said without school our communities would be backward, hence there should be good schools, accommodation for teachers for quality education in our areas.

 Katabazi noted that it’s our role to change our societies despite whether you’re rich or not. He asked Christians to promote cooperation and spread the gospel of love as a way of developing our areas.

Mr. Katabazi contributed all iron sheets and 2m Ugx complete the house

The schools head teacher, Mrs. Kakwavu Alice commended Mr. Amedi commended Mr. Amedi for contributing towards the construction of the head teachers house.

14m in cash and pledges were collected.
