Rwandan-Norwegian youth star Warren Hakon Christofer Kamanzi has signed for French Ligue 1 side Toulouse.

Kamanzi, 22, moved to Toulouse from Norwegian outfit Tromso where he spent one year, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 28 league appearances.

Toulouse paid Euros 600,000 to secure the services of the youngster who joined the club on January 1. The duration of the contract has been kept undisclosed.

A talented right-back, Kamanzi was born in Norway on November 11, 2000 to Rwandan parents and had his youth career with SK Freidig and Strindheim IL.

He joined Rosenborg in 2015 and made it to the senior team in 2020. Kamanzi was shipped on loan to Ranheim IL in January 2021 and returned to the Rosenborg first team in December the same year.

He joined Tromso in January 2022 on a free transfer and made a good season at the club and attracted interest from Toulouse until they agreed on a move to the club on January 1.

Toulouse have already announced the deal on their official website as the player begins a fresh career journey in France.

Kamanzi was capped by Norway at U21 level twice last year but he is still eligible to switch allegiance to Rwanda.
