According to Amutuhaire Happiness, the aim of this organization is to help the needy people around Ntungamo District, like kiosk owners, boda boda riders, etc. She said that people should not be misled by some people because it is not politically oriented. “I have 10 children I am taking care of in Ntungamo Municipality; it’s where I developed a vision of helping the needy,” said Happiness.

She revealed that she gets items from well-wishers who are willing to collaborate with her.

She also said that they have a program of assisting school-going children whereby 10 pupils with 12 points at Cavendish University will be given scholarships, starting with arts courses, and the next program will be for S.4 level. She stated that students from wealthy families would not be accepted.

On the other hand, Mr. Mugume Moses Katono, director and head coordinator in charge of program planning, urged parents to be responsible and not to leave children in the hands of the organization. He also advised children to always respect their parents.

According to Natuhwera Mellon, one of the parents who escorted their children to receive the items thanked Lift Up Community Organization (LUCO) for coming up to assist them, especially when children are in the first week of reporting back to school.
