The Rotary Club of Mgahinga in Kisoro has donated money worth 720,000 shillings to the family of Ntibarikure Gaudios, who lost three family members in the mudslides that recently hit Kisoro district.

The envelope was delivered to the family by Rotarians Kayonde John and Ndagije Ezra in Biizi village, Chibumba parish, Murora sub-county.

Kayonde noted that the money is a contribution from Rotary club members in Kisoro aimed at supporting Gaudios and the family members through the trying times they are going through.

Ndagije Ezra noted that the Rotary Club of Mgahinga Kisoro is also arranging support for the whole village since the landslides affected all residents both directly and indirectly.

He comforted the family by giving them words of encouragement and faith.

Ntibarikure Gaudios appreciated the Rotary Club of Mgahinga Kisoro and prayed that its members keep the kind hearts they have for the suffering.

He noted that he still needs more support because he is starting a new life after losing most of his property to mudslides.
