Police in Kabale District has two people in custody for allegedly assaulting a 33 year old man. 
The detained are a 23 year old Louis Arinda and his 20 years old brother John Fisher Birungi,  residents of  Rwamukundi cell Mwanjari ward Southern division Kabale municipality.

The two are accused of assaulting Tonny Bwete 33  years, resident of Kekubo cell Kirigime ward Southern division. The incident is reported to have happened yesterday while at Kiwero’s pork joint in Kekubo as the trio watched a football match.
The Kigezi region Police Spokesperson Elly Maate said that as they were watching the match, the suspects lost their phone and suspected it to have been stolen by the victim.
Maate added that the suspects mobilised others and badly battered Bwete but fortunately during the assault, the phone was discovered from the room from where they were watching.
Maate added that Police was alarted, rushed to the scene and arrested the two suspects as investigations into the matter continue.
