EXCLUSIVE: Mbarara Dj Alberto 43 to run for City Mayor

Thomas Sowell,90, an American economist and social theorist currently a senior fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution who served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, once said “the most basic question is not what is best, but who shall decide what is best”.

Mbarara DJ, Akatukunda Albert Kakye commonly known as Alberto43 has decided to stand as Mbarara city mayor 2021-26 with the intention to decide what the best is by ensuring best services to the public.

Albert revealed that this is neither about deejaying nor the influence of musicians joining politics but it’s about seriousness and passion and he has got the credentials.

Alberto said the youth and other special interest groups have been left behind so he’ll eliminate this marginalization besides other pertinent issues like improving on the physical planning of Mbarara city, ensuring that the small scale entrepreneurs are given a conducive environment for growth, brainstorming with successful business people and all stakeholders to develop Mbarara, and other issues.

His Biography.

Born January 9 1989 (31 years old) to Rev.Can. Ronald Kakye and Ms Night Kakye in Nyakyeera Ruhaama Ntungamo district western Uganda.  

Went to Mbarara Municipal School in 1995, with kindergarten and later joined Nyakayojo primary because his dad was transferred in 2001.

He further studied at Nyakayojo secondary school 2004-2007 and Mbarara modern school 2008-2009 before joining Uganda Christian University Mukono 2010 – 2013 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Mass Communication.

We can confidently report that he started deejaying in July 2012 before his 2013 graduation.

 DJ Alberto wedded in November 2017 (wife’s name withheld) and they currently have 3 children; 1st born in 2014, 2nd born in 2016 and 3rd born in June 2020.

Dreams without goals are just dreams, so the famous DJ has moved to spin politics and work with technocrats in interacting with fiscal policy.
