Rubanda woman member of parliament Prossy Begumisa has called for joint efforts aimed at checking the spread of COVID-19.
In an telephone interview with our reporter on Monday, the legislator called on all locals irrespective of their status in the communities to ensure that they forge common grounds and jointly tackle the fight against COVID-19.
She further revealed that the COVI9-19 pandemic has claimed several lives including the young and old getting worse with the new waves.
Begumisa revealed that taking precautions by observing the guidelines issued by the president in addition to improving on nutrition to boost the immunity will give people more chances of doing away with the pandemic.
