It is alleged that on 05/10/2021 at around 1800hrs, the deceased one Isiah Akatusinguza male juvenile aged 06 years a pupil resident of Kamuli village Rwentondo ward Eastern division in Rukungiri municipality was sent by his father one Mushabiro Robert 34yrs of the same residence to fetch water at Kamuli spring.
The boy left and never returned, prompting his father to start looking for him.
When he arrived at the spring, he discovered the empty jerrycans with the son out of sight.
Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maaye says that On 06/10/2021 he reported a case of disappearance at CPS Rukungiri vide SD reference 27/06/10/2021 and continued tracing for the son with a number of relatives, till the 08/10/2021 at around 0800hrs when Isiah’s body was found in a tree plantation belonging to one Ezra Rwamwehare at Rwobusisi B village, Kyamakanda parish, Buyanja sub-county.
He further revealed that the scene of the crime was visited by police. The body was taken to Rwakabengo health center III for a post-mortem to ascertain the actual cause of death.
