The incident occurred in  Bugarama village, Kahoko Parish, Nyakagyeme Subcounty, Rukungiri district claiming the lives of  Stidia Turyatunga (35) and David Turyahikayo (57).

He adds that On  01st Dec 21 at around 1130hrs, David received money from a neighbor only identified as Allan, a land sale agreement was made but the wife objected and refused to sign.

She moved to her garden. After her refusal prompted the buyer to (Allan) move away with his money and the move annoyed her husband.

Out of anger, Turyahikayo reportedly got a panga,  sharpened it, and vowed to kill his wife whom he found in the garden, and cut her all over the body.

The wife was rushed to Nyakibale hospital where she was later in the evening pronounced dead prompting the locals to move in and lynch him.
