Police in Kabale is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 30-year-old man.
According to Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Maate,
The deceased was Mark Tumuhimbise Drake, a businessman, and resident of Rwamukundi cell in Mwanjari ward, Southern division of Kabale municipality.
According to Collins Mugisha, 35, a businessman resident of the same area, a workmate, and neighbor, the deceased was last seen in the evening hours of January 31st, 22 at around 20:00 hrs as he entered his rented room.
After he was not seen yesterday, they forcefully opened the door at around 15:00 hrs and discovered him dead on his bed.
Maate says that the deceased came from Rwanama cell, Kyamurari ward, Bugongi town council, Sheema district to Kabale University, where he graduated from and thereafter went on working at Cyber-Technologies stationary near Kabale.
A report of sudden death was registered and the body was conveyed to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
