One priest ordained in Kabale diocese

The Kabale Catholic Diocese’s Rt Rev Bishop Callist Rubaramira has today ordained one priest at Rushoroza Cathedral headquarters in Kabale Municipality.

 The ordained priest is Rev Fr Anthony Nahabwe from Rubira, Kyanamira sub county Kabale district.

Rubaramira told the ordained candidates to stay loyal to their Bishops (superiors), to keep focused on God through living prayerful lives and keeping their commitments.

He also asked the ordained priest to preach the gospel of peace and repentance. The Bishop urged clerics to serve the faithful wholeheartedly without discrimination.

The ordained priest thanked Bishop Callist Rubaramira for training him and for those who prayed for him to reach at this time. He said that he has the desire to carry the good news of Jesus Christ.

Hon minister Henry Musasizi, the state minister of finance in charge of General duties speaking at the function said that the Government is at war of fighting poverty that’s why the parish development model will be launched on 24th this month in a bid to promote household income among the people.

Musasizi revealed that parish development models are means of getting people into a money economy which will be basically at agriculture and areas of production.

The state minister of Trade, industry, and cooperatives, Hon minister David Bahati commended the ordained priest for accepting to sacrifice and deciding to serve God for the rest of his life.

Bahati urged the religious leaders to continue joining hands with the Government to serve humanity. He asked the ordained priest to support the Government in DRC where is appointed in fighting poverty among the people as he serves the kingdom of God.

The ordained priest has been appointed to serve God in The democratic republic of Congo under missionaries of Africa.
