Rubanda woman Mp donates to churches

The Rubanda District Woman MP Prosy Akampurira Begumisa yesterday Donated 200 bags of cement to Muko health center III and 100 Iron Sheets to Kivunga Catholic Church in Rubanda west.

The 100 iron sheets worth 5 million shillings were received by Muko Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. John Vian Byaruhanga, and 7 million shillings in cash for buying 200 bags of cement to help with the construction of a 2-story building.

Speaking to our reporter at Muko Health Center III, Hon Prosy Akampurira Begumisa Mbabazi, who doubles as the commissioner of parliament, thanked whoever was contributing to the two-story building.

She said that she was concerned about the challenges faced by women from Rubanda and Muko who were coming for medications at this health center. 3.

Prosy pledged to conduct a fundraising ceremony for this health center III in October to raise more money for the two-story building.

She called upon the public to be in organized groups if they are to benefit from government programs.

She then went on to Kivunga Catholic Church in Kara Parish, Muko Sub County in Rubanda West, where she donated 100 iron sheets to finish the church’s roofing.

Rev Fr John Vain Byaruhanga, the Parish Priest of Muko, who received the donation of 100 iron sheets I applauded the legislature for having a giving heart.

He called upon the public to reward Hon. Prosy for his giving heart in times of need.
