Police in Kisoro district are investigating the real cause of the accident that claimed the life of a 26-year-old man passenger at Kyanakye Kanaba, along Kabale-Kisoro highway.
The deceased has been identified as Bruce Kamukama, a resident of Rwasanga village, Rwentobo town council Ntungamo district. The Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson Elly Maate told our reporter today that yesterday night at around 9:00pm the deceased reportedly fell off a motor vehicle Fuso registration number UBJ 533P from which he was traveling as a passenger.
He added that after the incident, the victim was rushed to Mutolere hospital where he died moments later. Maate said that the motor vehicle is currently parked at Kanaba police post pending inspection by the Inspector of Vehicle.
