Bishop Bagamuhunda bids farewell to journalists

The outgoing Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi Rt Rev George Bagamuhunda has commended media practitioners in Kabale district for using their platforms to cooperate with the church to disseminate development and spiritual upbringing information during his tenure of office.

Bagamuhunda sounded the commendation this afternoon during a luncheon with a section of journalists in his office at Rugarama hill in Kabale municipality.

 Bagamuhunda who was bidding farewell to the journalists in Kabale district said that journalists have been instrumental in ensuring that good news of spiritual healing and economic development reaches people in the entire region.

He also commended journalists for always reporting objectively and professionally and he said that their reporting has helped in advocating against evil acts in the communities and well being of children and women.

Bagamuhunda used the platform to implore journalists to keep the cooperation with the Incoming Bishop, Rev Canon Gaddie Akanjuna for the good of the diocese.
