Police in Kisoro have two suspects in detention who allegedly murdered a 20 years old man after were involved in a fight.
The two are; Ronald Rukundo 23 yrs and Joseph Barushimana 18yrs both residents of Kigezi village Gisorora parish Nyakabande sub county Kisoro district who allegedly fought the deceased one Erick Niyonsaba of Kigezi village Muhindura parish Kanaba sub county Kisoro district.
Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate says it’s alleged that the deceased and the suspects were last seen in a fight while drunk last night (08/07/2022) at an unspecified time.
He says that the deceased’s body was later found near his uncle,’s compound in the same village with a deep cut on the head.
Maate adds that the suspects are to help police in investigations.
