Mp for the Rukiga DistrictHon Kamusiime Caroline Muhwezi, who doubles as 1st vice president of the pan African parliament women’s caucus bureau, yesterday donated electronic equipment to different churches in the district.

The donated items include public system address, tailoring machines, a piano, among others.

Attending a church service yesterday at Kakiri Church of Uganda under Kantare Archdeaconry in Kashambya Sub County, the legislator donated two loudspeakers and urged Christians to always take all their grievances to the almighty as he is the only one who can sort them out.

Kamusiime pledged to continue supporting churches in all ways.

Hon Kamusiime was thanked by Mr. Onesmas Niwenyesiga, a priest, and Mr. Amos Bampabura (Church Warden) of Kakiri Church of Uganda for her unending support to the churches.

They added that the donated loud speakers are going to help them in spreading the gospel of God to believers.

Bampabura further revealed how he has been struggling to communicate with the public with his voice without a loud speaker whenever he goes for an outreach.

Hon. Kamusiime Caroline later joined believers at Kitunga Catholic Church in Kashambya Sub County, where she donated four tailoring machines.

Kamusiime expressed concern at how the public has concentrated on a child, leaving a boy child to live a miserable life.

The legislature pledged to create a carpentry training center in the Rukiga district to cater to the young boys’ need to attain skills and develop themselves.

Mr. Tabaruka Banabus, LC I of Kitunga cell and Kitunga Catholic Church, praised the female MP for her support of the people of Rukiga.

Tabaruka stated that the church had already purchased five tailoring machines to assist in skilling their younger generation, particularly those from vulnerable families, in order for them to be self-sufficient in the future.

Believers here were also so appreciative of the women MP for bringing tailoring machines and promised to put them to good use.

The legislator proceeded to Ngango Church of Uganda under Buhangizi Archdeaconry in Kamwezi Sub County, where she delivered a loud speaker and a piano and encouraged believers to focus on giving back to God.

The priest at Ngango Church in Uganda, Mrs. Grace Ahimbisibwe, appreciated Hon. Kamusiime Caroline for donating choir equipment.
