The Kabale district woman MP Atwakiire Catherine Ndamira honored her pledge of 30 bags of cement to the Kikoore Church of Uganda Kamuganguzi Archdeaconry Ndorwa west Kabale district on Sunday, valued at Ugx1 million.

The legislator made the pledge on February 19, 2023, at the installation service of Kikoore COU parish priest Rev. Benerd Birusa, which was presided over by Ven. Agrippa Kyarikunda, Archdeacon of Kamuganguzi Archdeaconry, Kigezi Diocese, Kabale district.

The 30 bags of cement were delivered by her political assistant, Alex Akampurira, who represented the legislator.

Christians led by Kikoore parish Synod member Babura Twiine aka Nalongo and parish lay leader Alex Bageine received the cement, but praised MP Ndamira for keeping her promise to deliver the bags of cement on time. In a good gesture, the legislator also donated 30 bags of cement to St. Augustine Catholic Church in Nyamabare Bushuro parish, Kitumba subcounty, and Ndorwa West Kabale district to help renovate the church.
