Ntungamo District Chairperson Tips for Youth on Discipline.

The Ntungamo district local council chairperson, Samuel Muchunguzi Rwakigoba, has urged the youth in the area to uphold discipline and engage in productive ventures.

Muchunguzi, who was on Friday evening addressing the youth from across the district under their association, the Ntungamo Students Association, at a function held in the district council hall, revealed that the youth have several challenges, and the only way to survive them and become responsible citizens is to be focused and uphold discipline.

The chairperson emphasized the need for the youth to start projects such as tree planting and support their parents and guardians, which he says will prepare them for bigger challenges. He also revealed that the district is committed to supporting the youth towards achieving their full potential.

Stephen Asiimwe, who was a guest speaker at the function, challenged the youth to desist from laziness as well as focus on completing their studies to meet the demands of the competitive job market.

Ntungamo district students association president Derrick Akatwijuka revealed that the association focuses on bringing the youth together and ensuring that they support one another to acheive in life. He commended the leadership of Ntungamo for prioritizing issues for the youth and supporting the association.
