A 50-year-old man who went missing on the 29th of July 2021 has been found dead.
The deceased has been identified as identified as Herbert Sunday a resident of Nyakabungi cell,Katokye parish in Kyanamira sub county .
His disapearance was reported to Kabale police station in Kabale district under reference SD REF 32/31/07/2021
Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate says that the deceased’s wife identified Winfred Komuhangi reported the disapearance.
He adds that the body was found in a eucalyptus tree plantation about a kilometer from his home.
He further revealed that the body was picked and taken to Kabale regional referal hospital as investigations continue.
Police officers from Kabale police station visited the scene at the same above address led by DPC ASP BYANSI MOHAMMED and a team, body was found in a eucalyptus tree of the family about a kilometer away from home.
Photos were taken covering the scene, sketch plan was drawn and the body was taken to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary pending postmortem to ascertain what could have happened.
