Rukiga District woman Member of parliament Caroline Kamusime Muhwezi has urged the people of Rukiga district to be more organized to benefit from the parish development model program.
While addressing residents of Rwamucucu Sub-county at the sub-county headquarters on Sunday, Kamusiime revealed that the locals should always embrace programs aimed at ending poverty and improving their household income.
She also called on the locals to be on alert and ensure that they are not cheated by selfish individuals who join multiple groups thus denying others a chance to benefit from development-oriented projects.
She also commended the leadership of the district led by Mbabazi Robert Kakwererere the area local council five chairperson for taking an extra mile in sensitizing people towards embracing developmental projects.
