The police in Kabale are investigating the circumstances under which a 21 years old man died.
The deceased is Eriya Mugisha resident of Kanyakiriri village Nyabikoni ward Kabale Municipality.
According to Elly Maate Kigezi Region police spokesperson, the deceased was found dead in his house which was reported by William Byaruhanga resident of Kirigime parish Southern division.
On the 22nd the deceased was seen drunk in the company of Evas, a concubine in the deceased’s home. Later Evas was seen carrying the dead into his house and they slept till yesterday when she left without informing anyone about Eriyas condition.
Maate said that the neighbors who had not seen Eriya the whole day became suspicious and thus deceased to trace his whereabouts only to find him dead in his room.
Police visited the scene of the crime and documented, that the body was taken to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Maate further noted that there has been no arrest so far and Evas is still on the run.
