Womugasho spoke today during the benchmarking visit by Rwampara leaders to Ntungamo district on the micro-scale irrigation program in Ntungamo district, where the leader visited the Rwashamaire field farmer school in Ntungamo district.

The chairperson was accompanied by the resident district commissioner Jane Asiimwe Muhindo, the chief administrative officer, Rose Nalumansi, William Bwongyererwa, and the district internal security officer.

Ntungamo district agricultural engineer Daniel Bwino revealed that the micro-scale irrigation program is vital since it gives farmers a chance to participate in maximum production throughout the year even when there are no rains.
