The Rubanda Resident District Commissioner Lillian Ruteraho, has challenged Learners to desist from acts of indiscipline that will expose them to HIV/AIDS, if they are to succeed in future.

Ruteraho was on Friday speaking as the guest of honor during the graduation ceremony of top class and vocational of Kitojo Empowered girls school in Bubare Town council Rubanda district.

Ruteraho told the learners that they should put God first in their studies and prioritize education as the only measure to fight ignorance. She said that working hard is also an important aspect to overcome poverty.

She revealed that better grades go in line with discipline and cautioned students against rushing for relationships that end up ruining their careers.

She further asked parents to take care of their children during this long holiday of festive season, saying that children shouldn’t be extravagant and end up engaging in bad acts.

The schools Director Lucky Asiimwe, commended the learners for the efforts they put in towards their studies. He called on them to have a purpose in life, a purpose of bringing Joy, health, right friends and career.

The school started in 2016, so far the enrollment of learners is about 360.
