Minister Bahati to focus on the extension of water and electricity in the new term

The   outgoing state minister of finance in charge of planning and the

Ndorwa west Member of Parliament, David Bahati says that his emphasis will be extension of clean water and electricity for his constituents.

Bahati, who was today sworn in for the fourth term, said that the extension of government programs like the rehabilitation of roads, extension of services like electricity, Health services, extension of piped water has been his priority.

 He also promised to follow up on unfilled government pledges like Tarmacking of Katuna-Muko road and provision of ferries on Lake Bunyonyi among others.

Meanwhile, the Kabale district Woman Member of parliament , Catherine Atwakiire Ndamira, promised to embark on programs, which she had started that are aimed at alleviating household poverty.

Ndamira further revealed that she will direct a lot of her efforts towards sensitization of farmers to embrace modern and commercial production which she revealed will play a vital role in improving the livelihood of the people in Kabale district.

 Rubanda district woman Member of parliament, Prossy Akampurira Mbabazi, revealed that she will continue working with her electorate and other leaders in the district to improve house hold income and health service delivery.
