The Police in Kabale district are investigating circumstances under which a 70-year-old man reportedly died after a drinking spree.
The deceased has been identified as Charles Kahangaa male adult, and a resident of Nyakibande cell, Kanjobe parish Kyanamira subcounty Kabale district.
The deceased is said to have left his home on the 4th of August 2019 destined for a drinking joint but did not return.
It is reported that Charles on his way home fell off a cliff and died instantly at around 4:00pm.
Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate says that the police visited the scene and the body was handed over to the relatives after conducting a postmortem.
