It was glamour, songs of joy, and praise as Christians of St Mark’s Kikungiri Church of Uganda Archdeaconry witnessed the installation of Ven. Rev. Amos Tweteise today, Thursday, April 13, 2023.

The installation ceremony was presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna, assisted by archdeacons and other priests at St. Mark Kikungiri Archdeaconry headquarters located in Southern Division, Kabale Municipality, Kabale district.

While preaching, Bishop Akanjuna has asked the new Archdeacon, Ven. Rev. Amos Tweteise, to always trust God, to humble himself before Christians, to avoid being greedy and proud, and to only be a good example to other people as a leader. Bishop also appealed to parents to always create time for their children and know their responsibilities.

Bishop Akanjuna handed over the Bible, Church of Uganda Constitution, canons, and Diocese of Kigezi Constitution to Archdeacon Tweteise and gave him the go-ahead to serve St. Mark’s Kikungiri Archdeaconry Christians officially.
